» On/Off Hire bunker and vessel condition inspections
On, or Off-Hire condition surveys are conducted with a representative of both Ship Owners and Charterers. On/Off-Hire surveys, basically, includes inspection on the physical condition of each cargo holds, weather deck, and cargo gears. Upon request, taking the soundings of fuel tanks and reporting the bunker at the time of On/Off-Hire, and/or at a specific time and date is also conducted.

These surveys can be for pre club entry or for follow up inspections of the ship, equipment and its crew to a given P&I Clubs format to identify and note defects (If any) to enable the P&I Club to evaluate the potential risk.
